Prahran Bike shop gives boy new hope
Prahran's Melbourne Bicycle Centre has has given a Blackburn boy Dylan Gleeson new hope with a replacement bike after his was stolen last week in bizarre circumstances when the 12 year suffered a seizure on a local bike path.
Kathy Raemakers of Melbourne Bicycle Centre heard of the incident in which a young 16 year old boy saw Dylan having an episode and instead of helping out he stepped in and stole the mountain bike.
She said, "I have sons myself and and I so wanted to donate a bike!"
Kathy contacted the family and invited Dylan to come into her shop to choose a new one.
The team at the BikePaths Guide applaud Kathy's generosity and say thanks too!

What a dreadful episode that young 12 yr old boy experienced, is there a description of the stolen bike to go with the description of the 16 year old, if there is I will keep an eye out for the missing bike! And its very positive that MBC came to the rescue! - Ian of Ivanhoe
